The Dynamic of the Psyche - The Process of Transformation in the 易经 and 道德经

The aim of the book is to develop a framework for understanding the relationship between the conscious and unconscious in and around the human. This relationship, as a dynamic interaction, is understood as the "process of transformation" through two foundational religious philosophical works of the Chinese cultural canon, the DaoDeJingand the YiJing.
 
Beyond these two main sources, the framework of the book is particularly grounded in the literature of 20th-century psychoanalysts (Carl Jung, Siegmund Freud, Jacques Lacan). In addition to the abstract sketching of the relationship of man to himself and his environment, the book thus contains on the one hand an introduction to the thoughts of Eastern metaphysics and the foundations of Western psychology.
